Speak Your Mind is designed specifically with you in mind. This locally produced live television show was developed by the Human Development Center to help start the conversation in our communities about mental health issues and to encourage people to ask the questions they’ve always wanted to ask.
Mental health issues affect everyone. Shouldn’t you know more? We’re here to help you get the information you need. Mental health professionals of the Human Development Center and their knowledgeable guests will offer information and answers to your phoned-in, and emailed questions.
Each week, live from WDSE-WRPT’s studio we will cover a different mental health related topic. Speak Your Mind will cover everything from depression and anxiety to learning disabilities, and what exactly is good mental health.
Is there something you have always been curious about?
We want to hear from you!

What kinds of questions cannot be answered? Questions of a personal nature will not be responded to on this live television show. Example: “My 14 year old daughter just ran away from home. What should I do?”
Which questions get answered on the show? Our host will be reviewing our viewer’s questions with 2 goals in mind: creating an informative topic-related show and answering our viewers questions. While we will do our best to include as many as we can, please keep in mind that each question that is sent to us may not get directly answered.
